The workmanship of all the work was excellent!

We retained Raven Homes to complete an addition to our home in the Fall of 2007 which included the addition of approx. 850 sq ft., specifically increasing our kitchen by > 50%, adding a mudroom, enlarging a bedroom, adding a new bathroom, extending our dining room by 4 ft. and renovating a 2nd bathroom.

We had been planning a major addition to our home for some time and once we had finished up with our architect, we put the job out to bid to 3 contractors. Upon review of the 3 proposals, we found Raven Home’s bid to be competitive and by far the most detailed of what was and was not included, which we appreciated since this was our first venture in a project of this scope. Once we contracted with Raven and work had commenced, we found them to be professional in all facets of the project. Due to the scope of the project, there were a multitude of design decisions that needed to be made and Raven Homes gave us ample notice of what decision was needed and when. Due to their experience in the industry, we often asked for their advice on design decisions and they were always happy to provide it, which we appreciated.

The Raven employees and their subcontractors were respectful of limiting their impact on our day-to-day life during the construction - which was no easy feat because the renovations involving the kitchen and all the bathrooms. At the completion of each work day, the work areas were tidied up and left in a safe manner, which was important to us as we have younger children. The workmanship of all the work was excellent.

As would be expected with a renovation of an older home, we ran into a few unexpected conditions requiring modifications to the original scope. During each of these instances, Raven communicated to us the issues involved and where applicable, offered multiple options from which we could make our decision. Raven ensured that these unexpected changes did not significantly impact the overall project timetable.
